Good to know

A clear plan starts with clear answers.

What does ElopeUs coordinate?

Your core experience includes location guidance, a professional officiant and personalized ceremony, one hour of professional photography, planning support and day-of coordination.

We help shape the timeline, coordinate your photographer and officiant, discuss optional additions, and guide you through marriage-license and location requirements. Our team is your point of contact, working with your assigned vendors before and on the day.

What does the core experience cost?

The base ElopeUs package is $2,250. Venue fees, entry or permit costs, and optional additions are confirmed for your chosen location and plan before you commit.

When is our date officially reserved?

Your date is officially reserved once you have signed the agreement and paid the $1,000 non-refundable initial payment.

For the $2,250 base package, the remaining $1,250 is due 30 days before the wedding and is non-refundable once paid. If you book fewer than 30 days before the wedding, the full $2,250 is due at booking and is non-refundable.

Your booking file sets out your package, agreed additions, contract, invoice and payment details.

How much photography is included?

One hour of professional photography covers the ceremony and portraits. Additional coverage can be discussed during planning if you would like more time.

How is the ceremony personalized?

Your officiant connects with you before the ceremony to understand the tone and details you want. They help create and perform your personalized ceremony, then sign and submit the marriage license.

Who handles venue reservations and permits?

Permit, reservation and entry requirements depend on the location and ceremony. We help you understand the current requirements and confirm who needs to apply and pay before you commit.

A small guest list does not automatically mean that no permit or fee is needed.

How many people can join us?

Our elopements are designed for 20 people or fewer, including the couple. Each venue has its own limits, so we confirm the suitable group size for your chosen space, including how guests and vendors are counted.

For a larger gathering, ask us about planning a micro wedding.

Can we bring our own officiant?

Yes. If you bring your own officiant, you can exchange the officiant service for a bouquet and boutonniere, or for officiant coaching. Talk with our team during planning so the choice and arrangements can be confirmed.

Can we add to the essentials?

Optional experiences can be added without turning the day into a production. Options, pricing and availability are confirmed during planning. Nothing is added without your approval.

What if our chosen venue becomes unavailable?

If a venue becomes unavailable or access changes, our team works with you and your vendors to find a suitable alternative when possible and adjust the plan.

Weather alone does not create a right to cancel or receive a refund. If conditions make the event impossible or unsafe, we work toward a rescheduled date or alternative when possible. Third-party costs already paid or committed may remain non-refundable. Review your agreement and the venue’s terms before booking.

Where do we start?

Share the guest count, mood, timing and anything you already know you want. We narrow the locations and confirm the practical details behind each option.

Which destinations can we explore?

Visit Destinations to explore the cities or share your interest.

What happens after an inquiry?

Our team reviews the destination, date, guest count and details you shared, then follows up to talk through your ideas and the next step. You can arrange a consultation before making a booking decision.

Submitting an inquiry does not reserve a date or book your wedding.

What if we need to cancel?

Send cancellation requests in writing. The $1,000 initial payment is non-refundable. More than 30 days before the wedding, any unpaid remaining package balance is no longer due; a balance already paid remains non-refundable.

At 30 days or fewer before the wedding, the full $2,250 package amount remains due and non-refundable. Third-party costs already incurred or committed are your responsibility. Your signed agreement contains the full terms.

Can we move our wedding date?

Request a date change in writing. Rescheduling depends on our team’s and your vendors’ availability. Payments may transfer at ElopeUs’ discretion, but the same vendors or location cannot be guaranteed.

We make reasonable efforts to find alternatives. Additional costs are your responsibility, and your signed agreement sets out the full terms.

Who helps us prepare for the day?

Our team coordinates the overall logistics and your vendors. Your photographer helps shape the ceremony and portrait timeline, and your officiant works with you on vows and ceremony personalization.

During planning, we check location restrictions, access and any required permissions with you. You are responsible for obtaining your marriage license; we provide guidance along the way.
