Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the ElopeUs website and provide general information about our elopement, intimate wedding, planning, and coordination services.
In these terms, “ElopeUs,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to ElopeUs. “You” and “your” refer to website visitors and prospective or booked clients.
1. Website use
You may use our website to explore our services, request information, and communicate with our team.
You agree to provide accurate information and use the website lawfully. You may not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious content, or use our forms for fraudulent or abusive purposes.
Submitting an inquiry or scheduling a consultation does not reserve a wedding date or create a confirmed booking.
2. Services and availability
Our website describes the experiences and services we offer. Your selected services, inclusions, pricing, wedding date, and payment schedule will be documented in your proposal, invoice, and ElopeUs Service Agreement.
Dates, locations, venues, and wedding professionals are subject to availability. Only services expressly included in your booking documents form part of your package.
Additional services, permits, venue fees, and other expenses will be identified during the booking or planning process. Changes to your contracted services must be agreed to in writing.
3. Booking and payment
Your wedding date is officially booked once your Service Agreement has been signed and the required initial payment has been received.
A $1,000 nonrefundable initial payment is required to reserve your date and begin planning.
The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding date. Once paid, the final payment is nonrefundable, subject to applicable law.
For weddings booked fewer than 30 days before the wedding date, the full balance is due at booking and is nonrefundable, subject to applicable law.
Failure to pay by the applicable due date may result in suspension or cancellation of services as provided in your Service Agreement.
4. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@elopeus.com or through your HoneyBook project.
The $1,000 initial payment remains nonrefundable if you cancel, subject to applicable law.
If you cancel more than 30 days before your wedding date, the remaining balance will not be due if it has not already been paid. A final payment already made remains nonrefundable.
If you cancel 30 days or fewer before your wedding date, the full contract amount remains due and is nonrefundable.
Nonrefundable third-party expenses incurred or committed on your behalf remain your responsibility as outlined in your Service Agreement.
Please review our Return and Refund Policy and your signed Service Agreement for the terms applicable to your booking.
5. Rescheduling and changes
Date changes must be requested in writing and are subject to availability.
Payments may be transferred to an approved new date at ElopeUs’s discretion. Rescheduling does not guarantee the same photographer, officiant, venue, location, or other wedding professional.
We’ll make reasonable efforts to arrange suitable alternatives when needed. Additional expenses resulting from a date or location change are handled according to your Service Agreement.
6. Weather and circumstances beyond our control
Outdoor celebrations may be affected by weather, closures, accessibility, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
When possible, we’ll work with you to identify reasonable alternatives. Weather conditions alone do not qualify a booking for cancellation or a refund.
If circumstances make performance impossible or unsafe, the force majeure provisions in your Service Agreement apply. Amounts paid or committed to third parties may remain nonrefundable.
7. Client responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate booking information and promptly communicating material changes.
You must obtain a valid marriage license and satisfy the legal requirements necessary to marry. Any guidance we provide does not replace your responsibility to confirm those requirements.
You and your guests must follow applicable venue, property, park, and permit rules. Arriving late may affect the services our team and wedding professionals can provide.
8. Wedding professionals and third-party services
We may coordinate independent photographers, officiants, venues, and other wedding professionals.
If an assigned professional becomes unavailable, we’ll make reasonable efforts to secure a qualified replacement. A reasonably comparable replacement does not automatically qualify a booking for cancellation or a refund.
Our website may link to third-party websites or use third-party tools for inquiries, scheduling, contracts, or payments. Your use of those platforms may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
9. Website content
Our website includes text, photographs, logos, graphics, and other materials owned by or licensed to ElopeUs or their respective owners.
You may view and use this content for personal planning purposes. Commercial reproduction, redistribution, or other use requires permission from the applicable rights holder, except where permitted by law.
Website information does not replace the specific commitments made in your signed booking documents.
10. Your agreement and legal rights
Your signed Service Agreement, selected services, invoice, payment schedule, and mutually agreed written amendments govern your booking, including service obligations and limitations of liability.
If these website terms conflict with your signed Service Agreement, the signed agreement controls, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Updates to these terms
We may update these website terms from time to time. Changes will apply prospectively and will not change an existing signed Service Agreement without a written amendment agreed to by both parties.
